With so much support available from a wide range of organizations and agencies, we suggest that you contact the Southampton Children’s Information Service on 0800 163 8833.  They will register your interest and arrange for a member of the Childcare Development Team to contact you with information and advice that you will find invaluable in developing your own childcare business.

Southampton City Council has an Early Years Development and Childcare Team who role is to support individuals/groups interested in setting up their own childcare business.  They are offer free specialist advice and support around:

• Financial Management
• Registering with Ofsted
• Marketing
• Training
• Recruitment
• Your Legal responsibilities
