Quality Assurance Schemes
The Southampton Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership is committed to raising the standard of provision for children through the promotion of Quality Assurance. There are a number of Quality Assurance schemes supported by the EYDCP - National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), National Childminding Association (NCMA), Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) and 4 Children. These schemes are recognised as meeting the criteria of the Investors in Children (IiC) standard. Click on the headings below to find out more: Day Nurseries - 'Quality Counts' Childminders - 'Quality First' Pre-schools - 'Aiming for Quality' Out of school clubs - 'Aiming High' All early years and childcare settings can apply for funding to assist them to undertake one of the above schemes.
