Meeting the requirements of a committee

Quorum 
Each meeting held must be quorate, with a minimum of 3 elected officers and preferably 5 in total to attend. 

Frequency
It is advisable to meet once every half term, but termly as a minimum. 

Agenda
This must be set well in advance of the meeting and everyone should have the opportunity to submit items for the agenda. Everyone should be informed how to submit agenda items. The final agenda should be sent out at least one week before the meeting.

Timing and venue
This information should be stated in the minutes and on the agenda. The convenience of as many people as possible should be considered. Start and finish times will be needed.

his annual meeting should be widely publicised in the local area and is open to the general public. All elected officers must attend, as well as the proposed new officers. The agenda should be sent out at least two weeks in advance. Outgoing officers will present their annual reports.
