The Southampton Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership is committed to raising the standard of provision for children through the promotion of Quality Assurance. There are a number of Quality Assurance schemes supported by the EYDCP - National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), National Childminding Association (NCMA), Pre-school Learning Alliance (PLA) and 4 Children. These schemes are recognised as meeting the criteria of the Investors in Children (IiC) standard.

All early years and childcare settings can apply for funding to assist them to undertake one of the above schemes. The EYDCP is currently reviewing its application criteria and funding. Enquiries should be directed to Kay Watling 023 8083 2148 kay.watling@southampton.gov.uk
